I sometimes use Tide powder detergent with a mountain spring scent when I can't get my hands on the liquid form of this laundry soap--Tide is far and away superior to the other powder laundry detergents out there. It makes the most soap suds with the least amount of powder added to your wash. br /br /I recommend buying Tide in this size because it is noticeably cheaper by the ounce. It does a great job with anything that can be washed in your clothes washing machine! The "mountain spring" scent is pleasant and it will not overpower you. It also dissolves rather quickly, just as Amazon notes, so that your clothing is truly residue-free after the wash cycle ends.br /br /A few notes: A full container could be rather heavy so you may not be able to carry a full container too far. Consider this if you have to travel with this heavy box and your dirty laundry to a laundromat. If the full box is too heavy put some of the powder in a plastic bag and carry your powder laundry detergent to the laundromat that way. In addition, this form of Tide does have a scent. If you are allergic to any scents or perfumes try an unscented version of Tide instead. br /br /If you have a clothes washer and dryer machine at home stock up when you get a good value on this! br /br /Overall, Tide is by far the best powdered laundry detergent; and if you can carry this heavy full container or some powder in a bag to the laundromat it is also the best value for your money. This is really important as laundromats and water bills seem to going UP these days! Tide makes a great laundry detergent. Don't waste your money on other detergents that just don't work as effectively. br /br /Use it in good health!br /

Five words. Tide. Mountain Spring scent. Bleach. This detergent is ideal for making whites whiter, brights brighter, and tights tighter. If you have dirt or stains ranging from grape jelly to mud to bloodstains (hey, I'm cool--I won't ask if you don't want to talk about it) this stuff will get it out. You get enough detergent for 120 loads. If that is not enough for you, I think you are a dirty person, and maybe hygiene is not the thing for you. This stuff is quick to dissolve, immediately upon contact, even in cold water. My only complaint is that I think the quantity of detergent is a little overkill. I'm not trying to do laundry for myself and the population of Knoxville here. The mountain spring scent is the real winner here. This scent is so overwhelming to your average Joe it's like a sensory Jedi mind trick. You can easily win friends and influence people, and you'll have plans every Saturday night with this stuff. Tide is the ride, wash your gear with pride, if you're not using this stuff, consider suicide. (Not really)
